Hello Community!
The Asian and Pacific Islander Queer Women and Transgender Community is looking for talent of all types to perform at our annual Lunar New Year banquet to be held on April 21, 2018.
Each year we showcase a variety of performers from within our community to a supportive crowd of hundreds of community members, including families, partners, and allies. Some examples of past performances include: Taiko and Korean drumming groups, singer/songwriters and other musicians, drag, comedy and improv skits, martial arts displays, lion dancing, K-POP and South Asian dancers, etc. We like to mix it up from year to year, so please help us spread the word and please submit your work using the link below.
In addition to individuals performers and group numbers, we are also seeking:
…an extroverted MC, or dynamic duo of presenters, and a skilled audio technician/DJ to run the show’s sound and keep the party popping!
What better way to give back to our remarkable community than to contribute your special skills to our community celebration and annual fundraiser?

Submission guidelines: The form will ask you to provide an internet link to documentation of previous performances (or audio/video files smaller than 300 MB). Please indicate the start/end point for viewing/listing, 2-5 min. max. The banquet is an all-ages event, so please keep in mind that the proposed performance should be family-friendly. Groups and youth performers are especially encouraged. Priority consideration is given to local trans and/or queer API, but all are welcome to submit.
