Thanks to all who attended our “Intergenerational Conversation” workshop at the Cal Queer and Asian Conference on Saturday, May 4. The turnout was great, and those who attended had the opportunity to talk story about important life issues across diverse ages in our community, including coming out, need for cross-age support and mentorship, transgender inclusion, and challenges and successes at our various stages in life. It was a valuable chance for many of us to learn more about each other’s successes and struggles — and we encourage ourselves and each other to keep this conversation going in our community.
