Hey Everyone!
Just a reminder!
It’s coming up this Saturday!
Get that super warm fuzzy feeling when you do something good for the less fortunate. Please let me know if you want to join,
Have you been looking for an opportunity to volunteer with other APIQWTC folks? Here’s an opportunity to roll up your sleeves and do some good for the greater East Bay community! Please join us at the Alameda County Community Food Bank on 11/7 Saturday at 9a-12pm to sort, screen and box food…this is perfect for the time of year, to give back and have some fun…
We will meet at the food bank promptly at 8:50am to sign waivers at the rear entrance under the orange awning. I will be wearing an APIQWTC shirt and I encourage you to do so as well. Let’s represent!
Please RSVP and let me know if you are coming and how many in your party. Please also let me know if there will be kids joining and read requirements below. There are also some instructions about what to wear.
With your group’s help, we are able to provide healthy food to the 1 in 5 county residents relying on our services.
Your group is confirmed for the date and time below in the Community Engagement Center of our facility located at 7900 Edgewater Drive in Oakland.
During the few hours you are with us, you will be making a huge impact: every shift, volunteers like you sort and package thousands of pounds of farm-fresh produce — which is soon after sent into the community to nourish our neighbors.
We look forward to you working with you! Thank you for joining us to passionately pursue a hunger-free community. IMPORTANT REMINDERS
