Snowboarding / Skiing at Northstar California in Lake Tahoe!

Hi all, Mai and I (we hosted the south bay meetup in May, 2016 at San Pedro Market in San Jose), will be heading up Lake Tahoe and invite you to join! We will be heading up the evening of March 24th from San Jose, traveling up 680-80 all the way to North Lake Tahoe (Donner Summit area) and ending the weekend trip on March 26th. I am a snowboarder, and Mai is a skier. We would be happy to show you the ropes if you’re a beginner, or ride (or tumble lol) with you if you’re an expert. It looks like light snow that weekend, so conditions would be perfect. You are welcomed to do a day trip (March 25th) and meet us directly at Northstar. Or you can stay the weekend!

It becomes a bit more complicated if you need a ride, and a place to stay. If you can drive, please be aware that it will likely snow (though not too much), so if you have an AWD/4WD you do not mind driving, please offer. If you have a FWD or RWD, carry chains just in case. If you want to take a bus, there is “Nacski” which is convenient but a bit costly. You can purchase your ride and life ticket from them.
